Hi Rick, My mother's father is Charles Austin POWELL. He was the son of Jay Wellman and Mary Eulinda (ELLIS) POWELL, born 13 May 1887 in Clinton, Massachusetts. All I know of Jay and Mary is that Jay was a carpenter and both were born in Vermont. Noting how Salathiel ELLIS was born in Windsor county, Vermont, do you have any knowledge of other ELLIS family members born in Vermont? We sure would like to solve this part of the family mystery.
