I am looking for the parents of George Ellis ,b.1857.He was listed in the 1870 census living in Winton Township, Hertford Co. N.C. on the farm of Henry and Susan Griffith. In 1880 he was living on the farm of Richard Carter in Murfreesboro, Hetford Co. N.C. and his mother was listed as Prissia. George married Anna Norflet Curl in 1883,daughter of Norflet Curl. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
