Hi Listers, Just re-posting my ancestors in case anyone has any links to them. William James George Ellis born in London in 1854, moved to Nottingham and married, possibly twice. Died in 1930 whilst married to my ggrandmother, Maud. He could possibly be the same WJG Ellis married to Eliza A Mansell on the 1881 census. James Ellis, my grandfather, born in 1899 and married to Florence Chaplin. James died in 1962 and Florence in 1970, both in Nottingham.
