Hello Tresa, I've been thinking about your message for a while. Do you have any idea where in Indiana either H. or Christine were born? Are either, or both, of them Indian by any chance? The reason I ask is because two of my grandmothers - Jane ELLIS & Judah ELLIS were both born in Indiana. They had at least three sisters that I know of but I don't know their names. At least one of these sisters had several children who bore the name of ELLIS. Jane & Judah were half Indian - probably Cherokee. Their parents were Thomas ELLIS and Judah WRIGHT. Jane & Judah both ended up in Kansas after marrying and having children.
