Hello all! I have just subscribed, and am after information on my great grandfather, WILLIAM LANGLEY-ELLIS. He was born Langley-Ellis, but shortened his name to Ellis. He was born in Yorkshire, (Bridlington) 7th Dec 1891 -1947. He married Mercy Agnes Veronica Price, and they had 9 children (3 or 4 died in infancy) He was a regimental sargent major in the 4th Dragoon Guards. He was known as "Jock", and had a "kaiser bill" moustache! He was the black sheep of his family, (of who i know nothing).
