WOW! Has this list ever slowed down! I had to unsub a few months ago, because I was getting scads of ELLIS messages and couldn't handle all of them with the other lists I was subbed to. Anyway I am searching for the following Ellis folks: George Washington ELLIS b. Alabama probably mid 1800's. George Monroe ELLIS b. Alabama probably 1870-80 George Monroe had the following known children: Alene ELLIS b. April 5, 1901 d. Dec. 19, 1995 James Dewey ELLIS b. Mar. 6, 1900 d. June 14, 1930 Sudie (no further info.) I met her in Florida in 1950's Another female, but cannot recall her name. All born around Coffee or Covington County,Alabama. Any information on these folks will be very welcome. They are my in-laws and most are deceased. I call the ones that are left to question them often, but I am getting nowhere. I need to leave this info for my grands. Thank you very much.
