Rev. Thomas Oliver ELLIS MD (1808-1879), son of Josiah Shelton ELLIS (1778-1834) and Elizabeth Bethena GILLIAM (ca 1790-ca 1810), was apparently born in Louisiana Territory (now Perry County, MO) and moved several times, finally settling in Fresno County, CA. He had a half-brother in Texas (George Lunsford ELLIS) and left many descendants in California. I am particularly interested in contacting other descendants.
