    1. [ELLIS-L] Roll Call: Benjamin ELLIS, Wales & Penn., b. 1843 - d. 1879
    2. Hi all ... I'm tracing Benjamin ELLIS, b. in Denbighshire, Wales (Ruabon Parish) in 1843, immigrated to Clearfield County, PA, in 1871, killed in coal mine in 1879. Married Elizabeth JARVIS in 1862 in Wales. Their surviving children were: Charles (b. 1863), George (b. 1865), Benjamin (b. 1867), Sarah A. (b. 1869), Elizabeth (b. 1870), and Isaac (b. 1877). Am especially interested in locating descendants of the son, Benjamin (b. 1867). I have a pretty good idea of what happened to the other kids. (Charles, George died young in coal-mining accidents, Charles leaving two toddlers behind; Sarah and Elizabeth married, had kids and moved to Youngstown, Ohio; I believe Isaac never married, but may be wrong.) Benjamin senior's parents were Charles ELLIS and Anne DODD, of Denbighshire, Wales. Thanks. Beth
