Hello, I am researching the Ellis' from Cherry Valley Arkansas. This family originated in the late 1790's in North Carolina, William Ellis b. abt. 1797 North Carolina married Elizabeth Allen (Allin) about 1830 in Carroll Co. Tenn. They had 10 children, they show up in 1850 in the census from Shelby Co. Tenn. >From 1860 they lived in Cherry Valley Arkansas until the 1930's. This is my web page, please check it out.
