I am searching for a Robert Ellis that came to the US in 1850 and settled in PA. He died there in 1858. he was married to a Lloyd (all that is known about her) Robert was the father of at least three 1. Griffith Ellis b. 11/11/1830 d. 11/6/1912 buried Urbana, Ohio He was married to Jane Hoge Woods of Urbana 8/24/1857. They had nine children, five of which lived to be adults. A. Mary W. Robert Ellis b. 11/29/1841 d. 9/29/1881 buried Urbana, Ohio Robert married Sarah Elizabeth Weakley abt. 1866 they had three children A. Edna M. b. unknown married Lee G. Pennock B. Nellie S. b. 10/20/1873 C. Robert Lloyd b. 4/17/1876 3. Margaret Ellis b. unknown Griffith came to the US with his grandmother in the early 1830's he was well establihed in business in Urbana by the time the rest of the family came over in 1850.
