Have been looking for many years now for Obediah Ellis's birth location, parents and first wife. He was in Baltimore, Anne Arundel and Frederick from 1760 to 1791. He is on tax lists, and the 1790 Census for Maryland. He moved to KY in late 1791 or early 1792. He shows up in Woodford County tax lists for 1792, 1793, 1794, he is then in Franklin County in 1795. He then is in Scott County in about 1808 until his death in 1823. Known children are Eleazer Ellis m. Rebecca Jones Rachel Ellis m. Henry Sheets Israel Ellis m.
