Entered hospital 1 Apr 1871 died 9 June 1871 of injuries received in Civil War. This information is in a letter dated 19 Jun 1774 from Fulton State Hospital in Fulton, MO threw the State of MO Dept. of Public Health and Welfare Division. This also shows his name as Roten.
