Seeking parents, siblings and place of birth for Ambrose Ellis. Ambrose was born c. 1841 in Virginia and married Susan Baldwin. There children were John, Amanda, Charlie, Albert, Baldwin (James), Frank, Annie, Bessie, Melvin and Earnest. This family is first found in the 1870 Madison County, MS, census. I don't have a clue as to where they resided prior to that. Noxubee County, MS, is an area where most of my line lived after the early 1900s. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Dorothy Ellis
