Hi cousins, My Ellis is sketched out, however I do not have all of the proofs I need. This is a line on which I have not yet concentrated as much attention as it needs. My siblings are Teresa Lynn Walker Taylor and Charles Alden Walker. My mother's parents were Arthur Eugene Ellis (1905-1942) and Zella Merle Goddard (1907-1981). Their other children were Daisy Dean Ellis (died 1964), Alvin Eugene Ellis (still living), and Charlotte Ann Ellis (still living). Arthur was the son of Andrew Patrick Ellis (1866-1939) and Ida Elizabeth Watson. Andrew Patrick Ellis was born in Wright County MO. Other children of this couple were Mabel Loretta Ellis (1909-1986), Iva Eunice Ellis (1910-1965), Beulah May Ellis (1913-1999), Zula Fay Ellis (1913-1986). Beulah and Zula were twins. Andrew Patrick Ellis was the son of William Benjamin "Buck" Ellis (1825-1911) and his 2nd wife, Mary Ann Boatman. Buck was born in Gasconade County, MO and died in Wright County. Andrew's full siblings were Elizabeth, Robert Mitchell, Dora, Margaret Demerias, Ruth, Isabell, Jasper Clayton, Laura, Dennis, Adline, and Enis. His half-siblings, children of his father and his first wife, Rachel Katchersides, were Mary, Benjamin Franklin, William Pressley, and Arthur Asa. William Benjamin "Buck" Ellis was the son of Benjamin Ellis III (1800-1881) and wife Sally Shrum. Benjamin Ellis III was born in Sumner Co Tennessee and died Wright County, MO. Other children of this couple were Sarah, Robert Isaac, and William Riley (Doc), as well as at least one unknown child. Benjamin Ellis III was the son of Benjamin Ellis Jr.(1763-1851) and Sarah Copeland. Benjamin Ellis Jr. was born in Richland Creek, Rowan County, NC and died in Texas County, MO. Other children of this couple were Nancy, Rachel, James, John Willis, Lydia, Sarah, Moses, Spencer Copeland, Doctor (Dock), Asa, Isaac, and David. Benjamin Ellis Jr. was the son of Benjamin Ellis Sr. (1739-1801) and Rachel Presnell. Benjamin Ellis Sr. was born in North Carolina and died in Sumner Co. Tennessee. William Ellis was in Kent, Maryland, and died in Rowan, NC. Other children of this couple were James and John. William Ellis was the son of John Ellis (1661-1719) and wife Margaret Coffin. John Ellis was born in Kent, Maryland and died in Kent, Maryland. I do not have other children listed for this couple. However there were half-siblings, children of John Ellis and Susannah Unknown. John Ellis was the son of John Ellis (abt 1630-1669) and Elizabeth Joanes. John has been identified as the immigrant to these shores, having come from the British Isles. He died 1669 in Kent Isle, Maryland. Other children were Elizabeth and Mary. Billy Walker Milton KS
