Hi Listers, I've just obtained my ggrandfathers birth certificate. It says that he was born at what looks like, 8 Silk Street, St Giles, Cripplegate. 1. Was there a Silk Street in this area during the 1850's? 2. Does anyone have access to the 1851 census for this area to search out a William Barnett Ellis living at the same address? 3. Would someone born at this address be baptised at St Bartholomews, Moor Lane?
