hello, my ellis family starts in the 1790's in rowan co. north carolina. my william ellis was born there abt 1897, parents unknown. he shows up in the late 1820's in carroll co. tenn. where he marries elizabeth allen. they show up in 1830 census of carroll co, 1840 census fayette co. tenn, 1850 census of shelby co. tenn. then 1860 in poinsett/cross co. arkansas where this family lived until the late 1920's. there were 9 children. if anything looks familiar please let me know. dallas harold ellis
