I'm getting confused. The Ellis list covers all areas as far as I know. That message was a forward from the Indiana list. I might have to go check it out though because my Ellis just happened to be in Indiana. They had the following children: 2 i. Ambrose (-1850) ii. Henry. iii. Rebecca. 3 iv. Richard (1781-1856) Second Generation ---------------------------------------- Family of Ambrose ELLIS Sr. (1) & Cecelia STOKES 2. Ambrose ELLIS Jr. Ambrose died on December 22, 1850 in Jefferson, Texas. On March 18, 1800 Ambrose married Elizabeth P. HERRING, in Lunenburg County, Virginia. They had one child: i. Cecilia Amey (1803-1839) 3. Richard ELLIS. Born on February 14, 1781. Richard died in East Texas on December 20, 1856, he was 75. Occupation: Lawyer. Richard first married Frances C. Routt WYATT.
