    3. Hi I have just found a new ELLIS family connection. Ellen Gertrude ELLIS was born 18 January 1834 and married Tom Pickering Islip on 30 June 1859 at Melchbourne Bedford, England UK. At this moment I have no further information, but would be interested in hearing from anyone who may have a connection. My other Ellis family (a different branch of my tree) are from Banff in Scotland. Andrew ELLIS married Sophia BANNERMAN on 5 June 1807. They had nine children as follows: Andrew ELLIS born 15.04.1807 James ELLIS born 12.02.1809 William Taylor ELLIS born 07.03.1811 Sophia ELLIS born 14.12.1812 Helen ELLIS born 09.01.1814 Duff ELLIS born ??.05.1817 Bartlett ELLIS born ??.06.1819 Alexander Wright ELLIS ??.06.1819 John Smith ELLIS ??10.1821 I have many descendants from here down. Several of the Ellis family immigrated to New Zealand, Australia and possibly also Canada. I am looking for any further information regarding Andrew ELLIS (senior) and where he came from. Also anyone else researching the same family. Anita in London UK
