I am trying to research my husband's Elliott line. His grandfather was JAMES EVERETT ELLIOTT born 24 May, 1875 in New York. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War. His parents were JAMES ELLIOTT born in Canada (no further info) and MARY HARWOOD born in Ireland (no further info). JAMES EVERETT ELLIOTT married on 3 Jun 1900 to MARY ESTELLE "MAMIE" CARROLL. They lived in Woodside, Queens Co, NY. James Everett died in May 1960. Their children were: Edna F. Elliott Nickstadt b. 1902 Marie E. Elliott b. 1904 Constance C.
