Court records, spanning the period 1809 to 1827 in Rowan Co. consistently show there were 6 daughters and 2 sons in the family. The daughters were: Nancy Elliott Nicholson; Anny Elliott Lathgo/Lethgo; Elizabeth Elliott Gadberry; Mary Elliott Harmon; Winifred (Winney) Elliott Yarborough; and Jane Elliott Manual (perhaps Merrill).
