Wonders never cease!! I found a file box minus the key. So, I went to the locksmith to have it opened. Inside, among other documents, was a slip of paper with more information on my ancestors. It was hand-written by my grandmother. I will update what has previously been posted. One thing I find curious and don't know the answer to is whether there is a relationship between A.W. Elliott (Father of Delilah C.) and Margaret H. Elliott (Mother of Landon F.). One can interpret the written names a few ways. What I will do is list them here as they appear on the paper; A.W. Elliott and Rhoda May Rainwater Daughter: Delilah C. Elliott Richard S. and Margaret H. Elliott Son: Landon Fletcher Elliott Well, I have been working on this for quite some time and have been a member of this site for several years.......in the hope of finding information. All of the information (and it isn't much!!) which I have gathered was given to me by my mother and my uncle (my fathers brother). This is my side.
