We have a JAMES ELLIOTT who was born in Canada and married MARY HARWOOD, born in Ireland. Their children were: JAMES EVERETT ELLIOTT born in New York (possibly in Queens or Brooklyn) in May 1875 WILLIAM ROBERT JAMES EVERETT ELLIOTT and his brother, WILLIAM married two sisters, NONI AND MARY CARROLL in 1900. Both had large families and lived in Maspeth and later, in Long Island City. JAMES died there in Sept 1960. Sound familiar to anyone? Linda Elliott Email: rje6116@msn.com
