I am one of the newbe's. I only have one Elliott/Elliot or Eliott in my line right now. My great-grandmother was Maria Louisa Eliott (that's the way it is spelled on the cemetery records. She was married to George Matthews. George was from Ireland. Not sure about Maria. They were from Ontario Canada in the Peterborough and Stratford area. Maria is buried in Mountview Cemetery in Cambridge Ontario. George and Maria had four daughters. Anne, Martha Louisa Eunice Olive (all one name-went by Olive), Myrtle and Stella.
