My grandfather was William Josh Elliott b. in Fulton Co. KY in 1854. He married Martha Davis b. 1857 in Graves Co. KY. His father was Riley b. in TN in 1824, he married Tarley Betsy Adeline Williams b. 1824 in Graves Co. Ky. Does any of this sound familiar? Any help would be appreciated. Jane

My Elliott line goes back to Allen Elliott b. 1809 in Kentucky. He was in Alabama in 1826 (when my gg-grandfather William Elliott was born) and then the family moved to St. Francis County, Arkansas in about 1828. William married 1. Sarah Styres 2. Adeline Adams and then my gg-grandmother 3. Melissa Adams from Graves County, KY. I know a lot about William but very little about his dad Allen who is my brickwall.
