    1. Scotch-Irish Elliotts
    2. marsha moses
    3. Roland, would you please explain the below to me. First, is it your belief that my Jacob Elliott and his brother Abraham Elliott who moved to Rowan County NC in the mid 1700's is a brother to your Benjamin who remained in Chester County, PA? And second, does your assumption match my guess that their ancestors were probably Scotch Irish and before that Border Rievers in Scotland? And how does your DNA validate those assumptions? I am just beginning my research on the Elliotts in Pennsylvania as it took me years to sort out the Abraham Elliotts in NC....I am interested in knowing if my theories that I hope to eventually prove are sensible.
