    3. My ancestors were Quakers. Mine moved to Perquimanns County NC and then most moved north.. First to Ohio, then Illinois and settled in Iowa. I have heard that my GGG grandfather was a big poo-bah in the Quaker church, but I'm not positive. I know that my gg grandfather was involved in it in Illinois. A house that my gg grandfather built (supposedly with help from the other Quakers) still stands today and is occupied by a distant cousin.     3. hmmmm I have a whole bunch of Quakers in this Elliott family too but named Moffitt/Davis/Cox...ok here we go more similar names...they were Oh Parker too, I think the Parker is the only NC Quaker the rest were in IN.
