Surnames: Elliott, Leader Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JhU.2ACEB/903.915 Message Board Post: Between 2000 and 2002, Susan Brown posted a number of queries on the message board about the family of her grandmother, Edith Candace Elliott, of Madoc, Ontario. Unfortunately, quite a bit of time has passed since then, and Susan's posted e-mail address is no longer current. In any case, Edith (or Edythe) Candace Elliott married my great uncle, William Frederic Leader, brother of my maternal grandfather, Hubert George Leader (1892-1975). I have a photograph of William and Edith's two daughters, Barbara and Margaret, as children. Sadly, on that picture is a note in my mother's handwriting saying "children of William Leader, who disappeared in the early 20's; no knowledge of these cousins." If Susan is the grand-daughter of William and Edith, she would be my second cousin. I would be delighted to hear from her or from any member of her family. Alexander MacGregor Ottawa, ON
