Norwich, CT is about 20 minutes south of where I live. You are not related to me (my grandmother was an Elliott born in Ireland), but I did look up Carolyn on ancestry.com. The 1930 census shows that her mother was a widow by then with four young daughters and that they lived on West Main Street. Her sisters were Ruth, Justine & Gertrude.
