In researching my Elliott family I have come across info. on a John Elliott whose son, Wm. married Maria Gardiner.Their son William Frampton Elliott married Martha Hasings and they moved to Morris, Il. and then settled in Brown County, Il. and did have a son George but his middle name was Otis.. Wm Frampton was born in 1834 so some of this info. seems to fit your info. This family seems to be related some how to my line which started with a George Elliott who came from Ireland in 1792 to Pa. but as a boy. I feel that George"s father and John Elliott were brothers but have no proof.. Would love to hear from anyone who might have info.
