Hi, With all the activity, I am hoping someone can help me. I am searching for a Pleasant Preston Elliott. He married a Sarah L Neils. This is all I know about them. Their children are Alex, Andrew, Celia, Thomas, William, & Daniel who was born abt 1830 Alabama, died 5 Feb 1898, this is my line: Lueretia, Lucinda Cynthia born 1831, Pleasant Preston Jr, born 5 Feb 1832, Alabama, died 4 July 1875, Gallatin County, Illinois. I am curious. The name Preston so often turns up with Elliott. I know that my ancestor Thomas Henry married a Dorothy Preston and that their daughter Elizabeth Henry married my 3rd gt. Grandfather, George Elliott and that one of their children was named Joseph Preston Elliott but I know nothing more about the Prestons. Does anyone know more about this connection?
