This poor David is attached to many incorrect wives and children. Melanie just described how David ELLIOTT born 1744, son of David 1716 and Deborah Aldrich, married his cousin, Deborah Aldrich Elliott in Beekman area 1770. However, about the same time, another David ELIOT was born in Bradford, Mass. in 1752 to John Eliot and Sarah Williams. This family moved in 1760 to Mason, NY. where they remained and farmed. In 1778 David married Hannah Adams, a young lady who was born in 1761 to Benjamin and Priscilla Adams of NEW IPSWICH, NH. David and Hannah immediately moved to DUBLIN, NH, a village next to Mason. Their first son, DAVID, born 1778, was born in Dublin, NH and not in Charleston, Montgomery Co, NY. This David Eliot born 1778 lived his entire life in Dublin, NH and married Mehatible Farnum in New Hamp. where they raised their kids. As for David born 1752, he died in Jan. 1793, his first wife, Hannah Adams died in 1789 and third wife, Lucy whom he married in 1790 ! died and all three are buried in the Dublin Cemetery. I know this must be a surprise to some of the relative of David and Mehatible Farnum (Farmun?).However to prove my point: 1. go to vital records of NH, on line 2. write Dublin NH Historical Society, she will send pictures of tombstones and family info. of David Eliot, Hannah Adams and Lucy Emery. 3. go on line to Higginson Book Company and order "The Eliot Family" by Walter Graeme Eliot, David's family starts on page 27, David is on page 38. Please note that this David born 1752, who married to Hannah Adams and Lucy Emery, spells his family name ELIOT as did his ancestors (Andrew and William Eliot of Beverly, Mass 1668) and descendents. If you have trouble reading or connecting family members in the "Eliot" book, write and I will guide you through it. I propose to you that you remove David Eliot, Hannah Adams and Lucy Emery's families of NH from David Elliott 1744 and Deborah Aldrich Elliott's family lineage (this is on the descendents of Daniel Elliot group from Salem, Mass.).
