It has been quite a while since my last attempt to seek help/advice from this list, but in hopes someone has new information or there is someone who joined the list after my last attempt, I will again ask. My g-grandfather was Thomas Ivey ELLIOTT estimated birth in 1860's in KY. He resided in the Farmington area of Graves Co., KY and married Parthinia MILLER. Thomas' father's name was either Samuel or "Sandy" which was possibly short for Sandford he was also born in KY. In the cemetery where he is buried, there is an old hand carved (broken) grave marker that seems to say "Sandy". At least one unconfirmed source has indicated that Sandy's father was Jesse ELLIOTT and probably born in TN. Does anyone have any info which might be helpful? Thanks, Gary
