Do you have any Hugh's in your Irish family? I am still trying to find my Elliotts...mine where here early...about 1790...no George's...but some James', Simons, Thomas', Williams and Andrews. My grandmother's brother was James George Elliott, called George, who arrived in Portland, Maine in 1913 and moved to the St. Catharines area of Ontario, Canada. Her uncle was also George, a younger brother of her father, who lived in Union City, New Jersey and had two daughters named Martha & Doris.
