Thank you Doris Yes this is the family of Elliott's. It is Maggie Elliott I am most interested in. I am trying to see, how she did in life, after her brief marriage, to my grandfather in 1908. The only info I have been able to find for Maggie Elliott is the 1911 census, I keep hoping that someone knows a bit more on this girl. I don't have a clue as to where she is buried, because she likely married, and may have been interred in her married name. I have checked out the OCFA but no death dates are given. I appreciate your reply, as this is my top priority at this time. Would that be them? This William works at a shoe factory his wife doesn't work and Margaret is a book sewer in a bindery shop? In 1901 they are in Hamilton City, sub dist A-5, page 3, Ward 1. William is a shoemaker and "Maggie" is a bookbinder. They don't give the Street or number in this census. I found an Elizabeth E. Elliott (Rankin) and an Elizabeth (Davis) buried in Hamilton Cemetery Wentworth Co, Hamilton in Section HM 282. In the same section is William John Elliott and another Elizabeth Elliott. There is also a William M. Elliott buried in HM 293-1 The route I would follow in order to locate the information you need is to order the buriel information if the above are your Elliotts and then when you have the date of death find the obit in the Hamilton papers. Obits usually give a lot of information on family members. Anyway that is one route to follow. Maybe try to find which Presbyterian church they went to and see who now hold those records.
