In particular I am looking for information on Exum Elliott. As always varied spellings are expected. I have very little information on him. He was born in 1800 and died in 1827. He was married to Jeannette Mebane and had at least one son, Josiah E., born in 1817 in North Carolina. Josiah moved to Tennessee and was married to a Mississippi woman named of Mary D. Tucker. They had a son born in Tennessee in 1857, Seth Mayburn Elliott. Seth M. was my great-great grandfather. This was all passed to me by my grandmother.
