I've been trying to figure out the connection of the McKinney's to Elliots, Scales and Robersons' The were witnesses on John and Margaret's wills and that often suggests a connection. Wish I could help more. Is it possible that Lavina was the daughter of the Mary Elliot living next to the McKinney's when he bought land?
