Elliott. I'm wondering if they were parents. These people moved all over the place. I think Robert was a salesman, because I have correspondence from Winnipeg (1892) indicating that he was working there for a while. At the time, they were living in Toronto. The family story is that the elder Robert died when Frederick was an infant, but no one knows where he was buried. We have no idea what happened to the younger Robert. Rachel spent a little time in Indiana, then moved on to Cleveland OH, and finally Jackson MI. Shortly before Frederick's death, he kept saying over and over "Edmonton, Edmonton," but he shook his head when I asked what it was about. I'm wondering if Robert and RAchel split, each of them taking one child. I've sent for birth certificates and have looked for burial records in St. Louis MO with no success.
