John oddly enough I am interested in the Eastern Shore but on a different line...my Hursts and Badleys were there. My earliest relative is a Joseph Hurst died in 1726 in Dorchester County, MD. He was possibly the son of a John Hurst who was an indentured servant in NE VA...this is speculation... So if you run upon any Hursts, Badleys, Creeks, Chisms, Harpers, Sails,Williams most likely I am related although marginally to them and would love info...I have not spent a lot of time searching those Hursts.. My Elliott (Alfred Barlow Elliott) My brick wall. was born somewhere in Illinois. I can't continue on my Ellliotts until I find out where he came from. They were in Ky the first part of thier marriage, as several of thier children were born there, I know where Florida Hart Elliott wound up, as she was taking care of me in Long Beach, CA and then my cousin in Alhambra, CA. Would you know how I could find out where he was born in IL? Maybe someone on the list has that information. I hope. Thanks a lot. If I find out any of mine are on the east coast, I'll let you know. Wow...how early?
