Joe, do you have any information on William and Catherine? Links to family where they came from when they arrived in the US? I am looking for a William who is the brother of my Thomas...the name Margaret is a common one for my Elliott females. Thanks for any info. The William I am looking for would have been born in Ireland about mid 1700's so your William would have possibly been a son? Just always looking..thanks, Vera "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. I have a family found in the 1850-1860 Census records for Carbon County (Mauch Chunk Township), Pennsylvania, that is my great grandmother's. William and Catherine ELLIOTT, Summit Hill, PA, were the parents of Margaret Ann "Annie" Elliott, born January 1851 in Summit Hill, PA. Annie married John NIHEN, c. 1878. Please direct any replies to my e-mail address: [email protected] There's gotta be another "Coalcracker" bunch of Elliotts out there!
