My Elliot's are from the Butler, Pa area and I think they might have come down from Canada, and I have always heard through family that there was some Indian mixed in there. My GGrandmother was Elizabeth E Elliott and she was married to Wm Scanlon( My Irish connection that I need information on) , they ended up in Niles, Ohio. Elizabeth died in 1910 at Trumbull Mem hospital in Warren, Ohio . In the Warren Tribune and the Niles Times listed her father and Mother as James and Margaret Elliott from Butler, Pa.
