He was a pilot at the nearby Hooton Airfield, was killed in an accident on September 5th 1918 and is buried in the churchyard here. Does anyone have any information about Claude and his family that they would be willing to share with me? He came from Toronto and had served in France before transferring to Training Depot no 4 and was posted to Hooton. Any information would be appreciated.
