Eliott grandmother Bessie Marshall gr grand William S Elliott gr grand Annie Bassett gr gr John Elliott gr gr Mary Cole (this is who I am trying to find) gr gr gr Samuel Elliott grgrgr Achsah Austin 12 or 13 children one of which is the John I am lookinfg for 4 gr John wife unknown I am not aware of the Mary you said was your great grandmother. Is your ancestor a child of samuel and Achsah? I think that the questionable child was really a child that Hannah had out or wedlock and that samuel and Achsah brought up because said child was born well after child bearing age for Achsah. Hannah was also married twice according to my records. I could be way off base but the dates I have don't make sense otherwise. Any info you have would be welcome.
