I am researching the Elliott family of Missouri, and found that George H. Elliott married a Miss Adelisa Hitt. Have no birth information for either one of these people, but their two known children were: Jefferson Davis "Jeff" Elliott b: 15 May 1861, and Henry Lee Elliott, B: 2 Jan 1863. Most likely the boys were born in or around Lincoln County, Missouri. I also strongly suspect that prior to moving to Missouri, both the Hitt and Elliott families may have lived in or near Fauquier County, Virginia.
