My Benjamin was born in 1812 (they say 1812)married to Mary Bell Mustain in Stokes County NC. Also I have located their head stones at Love's Methodist church in Walkertown. According to date on his, he was born in 1813. There are Elliotts all around me. Randolph Co. Elliotts were Quakers when they came to NC. My Elliotts seem to be located mostly around, Forsyth Co, Stokes and Granville Counties. I will check out Joseph. He does seem to be 1 of candiates.
