My ggrandmother was their daughter Annie Boxall Elliott who married John Harpur in Invercargill 1882. Annie was born in Invercargill in 1865 and died in Hangatiki, Waikato in 1947. I have also found a David Alexander Elliott born 1870 but can not yet confirm that he is of this family. Would love to hear from anyone who is also tracing this line. Happy researching.
