His son Thomas M. Elliott did not take over the business until about 1922 when his father retired and moved to Point Loma, near San Diego, California. I would like to hear more of your findings about the trees on the President James A. Garfield home, and especially if you should find a landscape plan done by J. Wilkinson Elliott.
