I have a John W Elliot (later Elliott) who was born in Scotland around 1862 who married a Catherine T (b. Apr 1873 in County Cork, Ireland, d. abt 1963 in Quincy, Norfolk, Massachusetts). I don't have her maiden name. They had at least 3 children, John Edward Elliott (b. 1897, d. abt 1949), Mildred Elliot (b. abt 1901), and Ruth Elliot (b. abt 1910). I know almost nothing else about them. But, as you can see by the dates, they're not the same. But perhaps further down the lineage there might be a connection (due to the similar names).
