AMANDA, WIFE, W, F, AGE 22, BIRTHYEAR NOT LEGIBLE, NO BIRTH MONTH LISTED, AR AR AR MOTHER OF 0 CHILDREN, HOUSEKEEPER, AND LITERATE. 1920 Census White County Arkansas, Bald Knob Township 63-66 Elliott, Amarus, Farmer, male, white, age 48, born in GA; Lillie M., wife, female, white, age 34, born in AR; Ruth, daughter, female, white, age 9, born in AR; Naomi, daughter, female, white, age 7, born in AR; Leonard, son, male, white, age 5, born in AR. Leonard, Andrew and Lillie Mae are buried in Shady Grove Cemetery at Bald Knob and the graves are marked with concrete blocks, but no identification. The graves are close to the Collison family plot Lillie Mae Foster is the daughter of Thomas F. Foster and Missouri E.. She was born May 1885 in AR. Buried at in Shady Grove Cemetery, Bald Knob, White Co., AR. Andrew "Jack" Jackson Elliott and Lillie Mae Foster. They had 3 children. i. Ruth Elliott. She was born Abt. 1910 in AR. She died Abt. 1955. Cause of Death was Hunington's Chorea. Notes for Ruth Elliott: She had no children. ii. Naomi Elliott. She was born on 03 Jun 1912 in Bald Knob, White Co., AR. She married Bernie Patterson. They were married Apr 1937. She died Aug 1976. Cause of Death was Hunington's Chorea. Burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Lansing, MI. Notes for Naomi Elliott: She was a school teacher up until she met Bernie. She then became a house wife. iii. Leonard Elliott. He was born on 14 Feb 1914 in AR. He died on 11 Apr 1935 in White Co., AR. Cause of Death was Accidental drowning. Buried at in Shady Grove Cemetery, Bald Knob, White Co., AR. Notes for Leonard Elliott: Drowned while fishing. He fell and his knee highs weighted him down. His obituary states it was an accidental drowning. "His boat apparently capsized and he was wearing heavy boots which prevented him from swimming to safety" - - take from the Daily Citizen, Searcy, AR.
