Alma Irene Elliott slipped peacefully from life to death to life eternal. Born in Noble County, OH on June 2, 1917, she had been a resident of Canton since 1937. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Milford who died in April of 1987; her parents, Frank and Mary Teeters; and two brothers, John and Doyle Teeters. Her absence will be mourned by those who cherished her presence, including her two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Milford and Diane Elliott of Canton and David and Sherry Elliott of Philadelphia, PA; her sister, Zola McKee of McConnelsville, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Eleanor Teeters; and niece, Mary Barbara Teeters, all of Zanesville, OH; there are numerous relatives, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends who showered her with their attention over the! course of her long illness. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends and family may call one hour before the services on Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in her memory to the American Lung Association.
