I had seen the Lamb book and there seems to be a wealth of information about the Matlack family. I have not spent a lot of time on it, as I just discovered the link last month. Thank you for listing the children. I have researched Sarah (may be Susannah?) who married George Dewees. Peter is living with them in 1870, as well as a Rebecca Whiteman, who I suspect is a daughter of Peter. Elmyra married a Nelson. I had found the census records, but there seem to be a number of Peter Whiteman's. I am planning a trip to the PA Hist. Soc. Have you already gone through the Amer. M. Cemetery info? I have the death certs from the LDS pilot search project. I have corresponded with a reasearcher of Peter Whiteman the printer. I also suspect a link to the VEALE family as another photo is captioned "Aunt Becky Veale Hubbard". Rebecca VEALE, dau. of Moses & Elizabeth, married Alfred H. HUBBARD. It is so frustrating to have the "link" and not know how it fits. I can suspect all I want, but I need to find proof that Catarine was a Whiteman. Thank you for taking the time to reply and give me some clues. Please let me know if you run across anything else.
